David John Millard, 77, of Clifton passed away on September 2, 2021. Born in Sayre, PA, David was raised in Clifton by his aunt and uncle and has lived in Clifton for all of his life. His uncle, a milkman in town, used to take him on his routes whenever Dave was off from school. A US Navy Veteran of Vietnam, Dave worked as a Superintendent for the MTA for many years, he was a Special Police Officer in Clifton, was a member of the Tenafly Rifle & Pistol Club and also was an instructor at Cherry Ridge Range in Sussex. He was the first man they allowed to enroll in Felician College, from which he graduated with several degrees, and later went on to NJIT to earn his master's degree. Dave was one of a kind and even though he seemed like he had a rough exterior, he had a heart of gold and was very soft-hearted, kind and considerate.

Devoted husband and best friend for 31 years of Sharon Joyce (Golub) Millard. Loving father to David and to Jason and Jamie. Dear grandfather to David, Eva and Cara. Dave was a wonderful brother-in-law and a loving uncle.

Graveside service on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2PM at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa. Please meet at the parking lot just inside the main gates of the cemetery.
