Darleen Harris, 69, of Fairlawn, NJ (Formerly of Passaic, NJ), entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born on November 11, 1956, to the late Cleophas and Dorothy (Foster) Harris.

Darleen was a dedicated, loving, and vibrant mother to Katreesa Harris Wheeler, Marcelis Harris, the late Ebony Harris, and James Tarpley, Jr. After graduating Passaic High School (Class of 1975), she followed her passion of numbers, which led her into the field of Bookkeeping after graduating from Passaic Community College.

She was predeceased by the late Margelene "Margie" (Harris) Bride, Leonard Lee "Lenny" Harris, Mark L. Gene "Brau" Harris, and Langston Owens. She is survived by her siblings, Cleotes Harris, Jr, and Michael Harris. Darleen's legacy will continue through her grandchildren, Caroline Wheeler, Chelsea Wheeler, Lyla Tarpley, Divinity Harris, Alana Harris, Mercedes Harris, Myah Harris, Marcelis Harris, Jr., and a host of family extended-family and cherished friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
