Daniel O Mutter's Obituary
Daniel O. Mutter, 74, of Clifton, passed away on March 15, 2017. Born in Paterson, he lived in North Haledon, Cape May and Jefferson Township before moving to Clifton.
An active parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Dan was an Usher, member of the Holy Name Society, and 4th Degree Knight of the Perez Council Knights of Columbus. A US Coast Guard Veteran of the Vietnam War, Dan was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. Before retiring in 2008, Dan was a Maintenance Engineer for Bristol Myers Squibb, New Brunswick for many years and was an avid fisherman.
Beloved husband for 55 years of Paula (Saganiac). Devoted father of Lenore Romney and her husband Robert of Spokane, WA, and Susan Stierlen and her husband James, Jr., of Valley Cottage, NY. Loving grandfather of Danielle Marie. Cherished son of Angela (Provenzale) of Allendale, and the late Oswald Mutter. Dear brother of Roger, Michael and his husband Mauricio, and Barbara Troglin and her husband Michael.
Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
