Constance (Jeffries) Doremus, 98, of Clifton passed away on October 8, 2023. She was born in Clifton and lived there for all of her life. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church, Clifton, where she sang in the choir for many years. She loved bingo and was a member of AARP, Clifton.

Beloved wife of the late John Doremus who passed away in 2009. Devoted mother of Elaine Petix and her husband Guy, Beverly Raissis and her fiancé Vince Carneiro, and Richard Doremus and his fiancée Lori Gallagher. Cherished grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 16 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Constance is predeceased by her son Ronald Doremus, son-in-law Anthony Raissis, and grandson Brian Doremus.

Visiting Friday 5-8PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Saturday 8:15AM at the funeral home and 9:30AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
