Conchita (Omagtang) Fried, 62, of Hamburg passed away on May 26, 2013. Born in Cauayan, Philippines, she came to the US in 1977 and lived in Haskell and Paterson before moving to Hamburg in 1986. An active member of Van Riper Ellis Broadway Baptist Church, Fair Lawn, Conchita was a Registered Nurse at Barnert Hospital, Paterson, for 30 years and later at Kessler Rehabilitation Center, Saddle Brook, for the past 5 years. Former wife of the late George Fried, who passed away in 1999. Devoted mother of Sharonrose O. and Nancy J. Fried, both of Hamburg. Beloved youngest sister of Nelly O. Medez, Felina O. Gimpison, Zosima O. Dime, Monserrat O. Medez, Rebecca O. Castillo, Esther O. Sarcepuedes, Samuel G. Omagtang, all of the Philippines, and the late Luisa O. Baltazar. Dear sister-in-law of Stephen Fried and his wife Edith of River Edge. Cherished cousin-in-law of Marc Krasnosky of Clifton. Beloved aunt of several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Also survived by her faithful canine companion, 'Champ'. Funeral Saturday 9:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
