Claire (Scraver) Jaeger, 83, of Clifton, passed away on November 1, 2016. Born in Passaic, she lived there before moving to Clifton in 1958.
A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Claire was a founding member of the Regina Mundi Knights of Columbus Council #3969 Columbiettes. Claire was a Nurse at Passaic General Hospital, Passaic, for 35 years, retiring in 1994, and was a member of AARP.
Beloved wife for 59 years of the late Donald E., who passed away in 2014. Devoted mother of Donald and his wife Fran of Clifton, Jack and his wife Carol of Clifton, Patricia Dunn of Clifton, and the late Timothy. Dear sister of Robert Scraver of Yardville, and the late Warren Scraver. Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Saturday 8:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:45 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
