Chuanyu "Edward" Chen's Obituary
Chuanyu "Edward" Chen, 83, of Clifton, passed away on April 10, 2017. Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, he came to the US in 1961 and lived in and around New York City before moving to Clifton in 1971.
After completing studies at Columbia University and NYU, Chuanyu was a Professor of Finance and Quantitative Methods at Montclair State University for more than 30 years.
Beloved father of John and his wife Zhenqiong "Joan" of Millburn. Loving grandfather of Matthew.
Graveside service Tuesday 2 PM at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave., Clifton. Visiting Monday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. www.ShookFH.com
