Chuanrun Chen of Paterson passed away on March 9, 2025.  Born in Taiwan, he traveled to the US for graduate school where he obtained a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles.  Subsequently, he lived in various places in the US before settling in Paterson.  Chuanrun worked as a professor for many years before retiring.
