Chester A. Zak, 91, of Clifton, formerly of Passaic, passed away on October 15, 2010. Born in Passaic, Chester lived Passaic and Clifton all of his life and was a parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, as well as a member of the Leisure Club.

An Army Veteran of WW II, Chester was a Postal Carrier for the US Postal Service in Wyckoff for many years, retiring in 1984.

Beloved husband of the late Helen (Jasaitis) who died in 1988. Dear brother of Henry of Little Falls, twins Sigmund of Clifton and Edward of Passaic, and the late Michael Zak and Sophie Bania. Loving uncle of several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
