Chester A. Waleski, 75. of Wood-Ridge, passed away on October 22, 2021. Born in Bayonne, he has been a resident of Wood-Ridge for over 50 years.

Chester proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the American Legion. A parishioner of the Transfiguration of Our Lord PNC Church, Wallington, Chester was a Parole Officer for the NJDOC for 28 years and later was a security guard at the Wanaque Reservoir.

Beloved husband for 52 years of Lorraine B. (Gavlak). Devoted father of Anthony C. Waleski, and Stephanie A. Basich and her husband Dennis, all of Wood-Ridge. Loving grandfather of Skylar, Sabrina and Sophie Basich. Dear brother of the late Anthony P. Waleski, Jr..
