Cherry Kivlehan (Boenitz), 79, a devoted mother and passionate cat lover (Jersey) passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025. Born in Lake Village, AR, she lived in Fair Lawn and Clifton before settling in New Bern, NC. Cherry worked as a bookkeeper for A & P, Saddle Brook, for many years before retiring. Cherry was married to John Kivlehan who passed away in 2018.

Cherry is survived by her children, Raymond Bross, Jr., Richard Bross and his other half Donna, and Virginia Smith; her step-children, Christina Class and Veronice Kivlehan; and her grandchildren, Tyler Bross, Brianna Smith, Morgan Class, Steven Class, and Cassidy Lohrer.

Visiting Sunday, May 18, 2 – 5 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Monday, May 19, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Interment, Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
