Charles M. Campisi, 94, of Wayne, passed away on March 4, 2015. Born in Passaic, he lived there and in Clifton before moving to Wayne in 1960. An Army Veteran of WW II, Charles proudly served with Company D, 26th Signal Training Battalion. Before retiring in 2010, Charles was a Foreman for Laminations by Estelle in Secaucus, where he worked for 40 years. Charles had also worked for Flexicote in Clifton for many years. Beloved husband of the late Ellen (Habel) Campisi who passed away in 2002. Devoted father of Joseph of Paterson, Cathy Campisi of Butler, Barbara Campisi of Hackettstown and Joyce Campisi of Succasunna. Loving grandfather of Deven. Dear brother of Maria Broekamp and her husband William of Wayne, and the late Sebastiano, Salvatore, Grace, Angelo, Rosaria and Frank Campisi. Cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
