Chanchal K. Chakrabarti, 70, of Nutley, passed away on November 2, 2016. Born in India, he came to the US in 1971 and settled in New York before moving to Nutley in 1981.
Chanchal was an Environmental Engineer for the New York Environmental Protection Agency in New York for many years, retiring several years ago.
Father of Neelabja Chakrabarti and his wife Vanita of Stony Point, NY. Also survived by 2 granddaughters.
Visiting Saturday, November 5, 2016, 10:30 AM at 12:30 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
