Cesar G. Padilla, 87, of Clifton, passed away on April 28, 2012. Born in Penaranda, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, he came to the US in 2000 and settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 2003. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Cesar was a 4th Grade Teacher at the Santo Tomas Elementary School in Penaranda, Nueva Ecija, Philippines for 30 years, retiring in 1986. Beloved husband of the late Victoria (Gonzales) Padilla, who passed away in 2002. Devoted father of Efren G. Padilla and his wife Aurora, Gerardo G. Padilla and his wife Aida, Nerissa G. Padilla of Sparks, NV and her husband Enrico Guevarra, all in the Philippines, and Marilyn G. Padilla Pasno and her husband Albin S. Pasno of Clifton. Dear brother of Marcelina Padilla Esguerra in CA and the late Maura P. Germino, Demetrio, Rosita P. Abergas, Gregorio, Carolina P. Aves, and Ruben. Loving grandfather of Edsel, Ernan, Eren, Elaine, Angeli, Marily, Gina, Anna and Shaira. Cherished great grandfather of Baron. Funeral Saturday 7:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 8:30 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
