Catherine (Sougelas) Youlios, 80, of Clifton passed away on November 29, 2012. Born in New York City, Catherine lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1968. Catherine was a homemaker who took excellent care of her family and also worked as Greek-English Interpreter for the City of Clifton, assisting with local and national elections. A parishioner of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Clifton, Catherine served as a Church School Teacher and was a member of the St. Paraskevi Philoptochos Society. Beloved wife of the late John Youlios, who passed away in 2002. Devoted mother of Diana Elaine Pitsikoulis of Clifton and the late Ted Andrew Youlios and son-in-law Michael Pitsikoulis. Dear sister of Diane Peppes of Clifton and the late Constantine Sougelas. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews and one grand nephew. Cherished godmother of four godchildren. Funeral Monday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Interment, Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Sunday 6-9 PM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Catherine's memory to St. George Greek Orthodox Church or the St. Paraskevi Philoptochos Society, both at 818 Valley Road, Clifton, would be greatly appreciated.
