Catherine J. Clinton, 61, of Clifton passed away on the morning of October 22, 2026, after a journey with Metastatic Breast Cancer. Born in Belfast, Ireland, she came to the USA in 1983, arriving in NYC and settling with her family in Clifton. Catherine worked as a caregiver for Clifton Adult Opportunity Center. She enjoyed her work with adults with disabilities for many years before retiring.

Devoted mother of Brendan Guzman and Fiona Guzman and her partner Jeffery Elkashab. Cherished grandmother of Ollie Elkashab. Loving sister of David Clinton and his wife Mary, Charlie Clinton and his wife Kate Lotwis-Clinton, Jim Clinton and his wife Roseann, Anne-Marie Fox and her husband Maurice and the late Sean Clinton and his wife Catherine.

Visiting Monday 4 – 8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Tuesday 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. Paul RC Church, Clifton. Cremation private.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Catherine’s name would be greatly appreciated.
