Carol J. Pyda, 87, of Passaic, passed away on September 4, 2026. Born in North Carolina, she lived in Paterson before moving to Passaic many years ago. Carol, a homemaker, enjoyed reading, cooking and watching her favorite show Survivor.

Beloved wife of the late Daniel Pyda, who passed away in 1996. Devoted mother of Daniel Pyda and his wife Christina. Loving grandmother of Elena and Matthew. Dear sister of Glenda Knighten.

Services were private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
