Carol Maria Gaff MANN, age 91, died on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at her home in Morristown, New Jersey. Ms. Mann was born in Stamford, Connecticut, and was a 1949 graduate of Greenwich High School. Ms. Mann was a house model for the designer Claire McCardell in the early 1950s.

In 1981, The New York Times called her one of the "...beautiful women...of fashion's golden age." She was a long-time community activist, serving on the Fair Housing Committee of the Chathams and the League of Women Voters in the 1970s, and devoted many years as a volunteer at Morris County's Frelinghuysen Arboretum and Acorn Hall.

She is survived by three children, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a brother.
