Carol M. (Carnivale) Furia, 72, of Clifton, passed away on June 18, 2017. Born in Passaic, she was a lifelong resident of Clifton.
A parishioner of Holy Family RC Church, Nutley, Carol was a Beautician for Kay Commiciotto at Elite Beauty Salon on Van Houten Ave., Clifton, for many years, retiring several years ago.
Beloved wife for 51 years of Vincent. Devoted mother of Frank and his wife Debbie of Clifton, and Vincent and his wife Amanda of Long Valley. Loving grandmother of Gregory and his wife Edith, Sabrina, Andrea, Josephine and Genavieve. Cherished great grandmother of Logan and Everly. Dear sister of Sandra Barreca of Manchester and Ronnie Poland of Clifton.
Funeral Wednesday 9:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10:30 AM at Holy Family RC Church, Nutley. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011, www.alz.org, in memory of Carol, would be greatly appreciated.
