Carol Degroot's Obituary
Carol (Burnham) DeGroot, 74, of Clifton, passed away on March 27, 2018. Born and raised in Paterson, she lived in Fair Lawn and North Haledon before moving to Clifton 12 years ago.
Carol was a Pharmaceutical Assistant for Pathmark in Fair Lawn for 25 years, retiring in 2008.
Beloved wife of the late Charles DeGroot, who passed away in 2004. Devoted mother of Laurie Cumba and her husband Jenaro, Jr. of Brodheadsville, PA, James Braciliano of Carlstadt, Danielle Gvoth and her husband Robert of Effort, Pa, and the late Nicholas. Loving grandmother of Eric Cumba and his wife Brittany, Alysha Cumba, and Marissa Gvoth. Cherished great grandmother of Berklee Rose Cumba.
Memorial Gathering Saturday, April 7, 2018, 3-5 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Memorial Service at 4:30 PM. Cremation was private.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the American Lung Association, Donation Processing Center, PO Box 7000, Albert Lea, MN 56007-8001, www.lung.org , in memory of Carol, would be greatly appreciated.
