Obituary

Carmine Cannarella, 84, of Clifton on September 24, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, he lived there before moving to Clifton in 1960 and was a parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. An Army Veteran of WW II, Carmine was a Draftsman for the Schindler Corp. in Morris County for 15 years, retiring in 1989. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen (McMahon) who died in 1984. Devoted father of Joseph and his wife Beng-Guat of Wayne, Nanette Tingley and her husband Bruce of Voorhees, Mary Ann Cannarella of Clifton, Elizabeth Berman and her husband Peter of Birmingham AL, and John and his wife Mary of Woodbridge, VA. Dear brother of Constance Cappola of West Nyack, NY. Loving grandfather of John, Elizabeth, Matthew, Allison, and Jennifer. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Monday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
