Carmen R. Mejia, 63, of Clifton, passed away on June 14, 2015. Born in Colombia she came to the US in 1971 and lived in Queens, NY, before moving to Clifton 15 years ago. Carmen worked for Drake's Bakery in Wayne for 23 years, retiring in 2011. Beloved wife of Chik Lam Gong. Devoted mother of Libardo Ospina of Passaic, and Joanna Leibowitz of Wayne. Loving grandmother of Madison. Dear sister of Zorayda Ramirez of Babylon, NY, Alvaro Hoyes of Miami, Aura Esther Bustos and Fanny Ramirez Mejia, both of Colombia. Funeral Thursday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
