Carmen R. Duran, 76 of Washington Township, passed away on January 18, 2021. Born in Villa Tapia, Dominican Republic, she came to the US in 1980 and lived in Washington Heights and Passaic before moving to Washington Twsp. several years ago.

Before retiring in 2001, Carmen was a seamstress for Grossman & Son in Passaic for 15 years. Carmen was a loving person who loved to care for others, and enjoyed dancing and cooking.

Beloved mother of Wilfredo Ramirez and his partner of Lauren, and Luis Furcal. Loving grandmother of Jeanice, Justin and Leo. Dear sister of Rafaela, Papote, Maneto, Mercedes and Luz Duran, Nana Paulina, and Luis "Papi" Duran.

Visitation Monday 6-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Tuesday 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
