Nueva Ecija, Philippines
Passed peacefully on Friday August 21, 2020 at the age of 86. Husband to Susan, father to Girlie(nee), Owie, Glenda and Gerald and a devoted grandfather to Jason, Erik, Jana and Maxine.
Carlos was born on November 4, 1933 to Eulogio and Prowelana in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. A high school valedictorian and an athletic scholar at Letran College Philippines. Carlos was a very active person who inspired and influenced his children through his passion for hard work.
Later on, he learned his craft on movie production and became a movie director. He eventually started and owned his own movie production company.
Carlos was a very simple man with simple pleasures in life. He came to New Jersey in 1999 and worked in Deluxe Check Printers for more than 10 years.
His favorite activities included playing cards, watching The Price is Right and Jeopardy, and was an avid walker.
He never looked for any praises and just went on quietly working for his loved ones. A person with lots of compassion and kindness, Carlos was always quick to help others in need in the best way he could.
He was well loved by his grandkids and had been their constant companion while growing up.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those who knew him.
Due to the impact of the pandemic that has caused challenging times around the world, the family has decided to have a memorial service privately for family members only.
