Carl E. Kuehn, 79, of Maywood on August 14, 2010. Born in Bronx, NY, he lived in Saddle Brook before moving to Maywood in 1961.

A parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Maywood, Carl was a graduate of Davis & Elkins University in West Virginia. Carl was a Parole Officer for the State of NJ, Department of Corrections, in Jersey City for 20 years, retiring in 1985.

Beloved husband for 49 years of Veronica (Sudol). Devoted father of Robert and his wife Debra of Maywood, Kathleen Ludwig and her husband Joseph of Haworth, and Thomas E. of Maywood. Loving grandfather of Victoria, Briana and Alyson.

Funeral Wednesday 8:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church, Maywood. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Tuesday 6-9 PM. www.shookfh.com
