Carl P. Gommoll's Obituary
Carl P. Gommoll, 75 of Nutley, passed away on January 15, 2016. Born in Newark, he lived in Nutley and Clifton, returning to Nutley several years ago.
A parishioner of St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton, Carl was a member of the Holy Name Society, the Old Guard of Nutley, the NJ Woodturners, and Kingsland Manor. Before retiring, Carl was a Silk Screener for Artley Co. in Newark for 35 years and later for Shiseieo Co., in Oakland.
Beloved husband for 52 years of Carol F. (Kievit). Devoted father of Darlene Kadel, and Carl Gommoll, Jr, and his wife Caprice. Loving grandfather of Michael, Kristyn, Caitlyn, Chase and Blake. Dear brother of June Zeitler.
Funeral Monday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11 AM at St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to your favorite charity in memory of Carl, would be greatly appreciated.
