Bruno Civetta , 74, of Clifton, formerly of Newark, passed away on November 12, 2020. Born in Castelvetere in Val Fortore, Italy, Bruno came to the US in 1969 and first settled in Bloomfield before moving to Newark and later to Clifton. He was a Language Teacher in Clifton High School for many years before retiring in 2010.

Beloved husband for 39 years of Agata (Russo) Civetta . Bruno will be greatly missed by his extended family including his siblings, his brothers & sisters-in-law, his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visiting Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A Funeral Mass will follow at 2PM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Ave., Clifton. Interment will take place at a later date in Italy.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Bruno's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.StJude.org , would be greatly appreciated.
