Brian Doherty's Obituary
Brian Doherty, 79, of Hackensack, passed away on April 9, 2021. Born in Belfast, Ireland, he came to the US in 1958 and lived in Elizabeth before moving to Hackensack 30 years ago.
A US Army Veteran, Brian was the owner of the General Nutrition Center in Englewood for many years. A talented musician, Brian was a guitarist and band leader, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Beloved Godfather of Andrew Lee of Hackensack. Visiting Friday 8:30-9:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
Funeral Friday 10 AM at St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton.
