Blanca Rivera, 71, of Passaic, passed away on May 17, 2016. Born in Ecuador, she came to the US in 1968 and lived in West New York before moving to Passaic several years ago.
A parishioner of St. Nicholas RC Church, Passaic, Blanca was a School Bus Driver for First Student, Inc., in Englewood for 10 years, retiring in 2003.
Beloved wife of Jorge. Devoted mother of Carlos Rivera of West New York, Mila Vera and Tanya Ferreras, both of Clifton. Dear sister of Melchor Vera of Union City. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Nicholas RC Church, Passaic. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visiting Thursday 5-9 PM at the funeral home.
