Betty J. (Steward) Lutz, 87, of Clifton, passed away on March 6, 2013. Born in Grants Pass, Oregon, Betty lived most of her life in Clifton. Betty was the Clifton City Clerk for 26 years as well as the Registrar of Vital Statistics for 5 years, retiring in 1990. Beloved wife of the late George who passed away in 1996. Devoted mother of the late Linda S. Lukens who passed away in 2000. Loving grandmother of Matthias Lukens and his wife Jennifer of New Milford, CT, and Bryce Lukens and his wife Bambi of E. Greenwich, RI. Cherished great grandmother of Katherine, Benjamin, Bryce and Blake. Dear sister of the late Jack Steward. Visiting Saturday, March 9, 2013, 2-4 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private.
