Betty (Montagnino) Castronovo, 94, of Clifton on August 14, 2009. Born in Sicily, Italy, she came to the US at the age of 8 and lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton 52 years ago. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Betty was a seamstress for many years before retiring. Beloved wife of the late Frederick C., who died in 2001. Devoted mother of Charles of Montvale, and Maria Fedorchak and her husband Robert of Garfield. Dear sister of James Montagnino of Nutley and the late Joan Grap and Ann D'Errico. Loving grandmother of Dominic and Dale Castronovo, Dina McClelland and her husband Jack, Paul Fedorchak and his wife Terry, and Gina Randazzo and her husband Joseph. Cherished great grandmother of Connor, Morgan, Julia, Olivia, Emma and Cole. Funeral Wednesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
