Bertha (Kaszycki) Rutkowski Cady, 97, of Clifton on April 1, 2010. Born in Shenandoah, PA, Bertha lived in Passaic and has been a resident of Clifton most of her life.

An active parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Bertha was a member of the Loaves & Fishes, the Leisure Club, the Golden Circle, and the Rosary Society. Bertha was a Hose Maker for Manhattan Rubber in Passaic for several years, and later worked for the Tube Division of Dumont in Clifton for 25 years, retiring in 1977.

Beloved wife for 25 years of Lyle E., Sr., Devoted mother of Joseph Rutkowski and his wife Rose of Morristown, Robert Rutkowski and his wife Lori of Florida, Joan Kovalycik of Pensacola, Florida., and Brenda Bennett and her husband Edwin of Minnesota. Cherished step mother of Lyle, Jr. and his wife Marsha of North Carolina, and Bryan and his wife Ellen of Sparta. Dear sister of Tanny Sackman , Dolores Amey, and Nettie Shnable, all of Pennsylvania, Walter Kaszycki of Connecticut., and Eva Mika of Florida. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral Wednesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
