Bernice T. (Harowicz) Miko, 96, of Clifton, passed away on March 9, 2014. Born in Zanesville, Ohio, she lived in Passaic and Garfield before moving to Clifton in 1950. Bernice, a homemaker, was a parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, and was a member of the Golden Circle. Beloved wife of the late Joseph who passed away in 2004. Devoted mother of Fred L. Muller and his wife Rosemarie of Woodland Park, Dennis J. Muller and his wife Donna of Port St. Lucie, FL, Geraldine Walsh of Lincoln Park, and Patricia McQuitty and her husband Robert, Jr. of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Fred J. Muller, Lisa Marie Valentine, Melissa Cotrina, Cheryl Muller, Robert McQuitty, III, Thomas Walsh, Jr., and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by her beloved friend and caregiver, Mira Boyko. Funeral Friday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
