Bernardine A. Stalbaum, 79, of Clifton passed away on August 31, 2021. Born in Passaic, Bernardine has been a lifelong resident of Clifton. She was an English Teacher at Clifton High School for over 40 years before retiring in 2006. Bernardine was a member of the NJEA, the Clifton Teacher's Association and was a coach for the academic decathlon team at Clifton High for many years.

Dear sister of Gregory M. Vasel and his wife Dorothy of Clifton and the late Matthew Vasel. Sister-in-law of Kathryn Vasel. Loving aunt of Gina, Laura, Bryan, Melissa, Allison and Denise.

Visiting Friday 4-8PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Saturday 8:45AM at the funeral home and 10AM at St. Michael's Chapel, 415 Lackawanna Ave., Woodland Park. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
