Bernadette M. (McGinnis) Watson, 84, of Pompton Lakes, passed away on December 28, 2016. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she lived in Philadelphia, and Clifton for most of her life, before moving to Pompton Lakes.
A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Bernadette was a member of the Legion of Mary. Beloved mother of Julianne Shand and her companion Stephen Potts of Pompton Lakes. Loving grandmother of 2. Dear sister of the late Phaedra Bonaccorsi, Barbara Morrisey, Dolores Scrupskis and Charles McGinnis, Jr..
Funeral Wednesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
