Bernadette (Sebeck) Szczech, 79, of Wayne passed away on December 26, 2024. Born in Passaic, she lived in Garfield, Clifton, Little Falls and Wallington before settling in Wayne. Bernadette worked as a teacher's aide for the Wayne Board of Education for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of Eugene Szczech. Devoted mother of Deborah Szczech, Kelly Teschner, Kristen Szczech and her husband Bill Farkas and Jill Kolamo and her husband Tom. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Abigail, Grayson, Audrey and the late Jared.
Memorial Gathering Saturday 2 – 4 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation was private.
