Basil Margitich, 86, of Clifton, passed away on October 6, 2020. Born in Scranton, PA, he lived most of his life in Clifton. A US Army Veteran, Basil was a self employed Realtor and Appraiser for many years and had also been a car salesman for DeMassi Cadillac in Clifton.

Predeceased by his parents William and Anna (Kalinich), siblings, the Very Rev. Michael Margitich, the Very Rev. John Margitich, Deacon Joseph Margitich, Stephen Margitich, Helen Magas and George Margitich.

Basil is survived by his sons James of West New York and Robert of Los Angeles. Brother Emil Margine of Whitehall, PA, and sister Anna Senich of Scranton, PA.

Funeral Saturday 10 AM at the Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Ascension Cathedral, 635 Broad St., Clifton. Interment, Ss. Peter and Paul RO Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
