Barbara Ann Silvestri, 80, of Clifton, passed away on April 7, 2024. Born in Passaic, she was a lifelong resident of Clifton. An active parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Barbara sang in the Choir, volunteered with the Loaves & Fishes, was a member and Past Treasurer of the Golden Circle, and belonged to St. Paul's Leisure Club. Before retiring in 2011, Barbara worked for the Social Security Administration at the Clifton Office on Allwood Road for 43 years.

Beloved sister of Livio V. Silvestri, Jr. and his wife Joan of Manheim, PA, Edward C. Silvestri and his wife Lillian of Clifton, Maryann Weygand of White House Station and her late husband Kenneth, Sr. who passed away in 2022, and the late Joyce F. Meyers who passed away in 2000 and her husband Vincent of Vermont. Loving aunt of several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visiting Thursday, April 11, 2024, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Friday, April 12, 2024, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
