Barbara Danuta Koscielny, 63, of Clifton passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021. Born in Stalowa Wola, Poland, Basia came to the US in 1994 and first settled in PA and lived in Brooklyn, Garfield and Wallington before moving to Clifton.

Devoted mother of Tomasz Banko and his partner Zaneta of Luton, England, and Peter Banko of Clifton. Loving Babcia of Bianca, Oscar, Marcel and Natalia. Dear sister of Aleksander and Robert Banko and aunt of Sebastian, Pawel and Zuzia.

Basia had the biggest place in her heart for her grandchildren and will be remembered as someone who was extremely hardworking and who was helpful to everyone in their time of need. She was known as "Mom" to so many and loved shopping, gardening and cooking, especially her famous pierogi.

Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 5:30 PM at Holy Rosary RC Church, 6 Wall Street, Passaic. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in Poland. Cremation was private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.
