Barbara A Henning's Obituary
Barbara A. Henning (Prescott), 85, of Rutherford, passed away on December 31, 2022. Born in Jersey City, she was raised in Rutherford and lived in Long Island before returning to Rutherford many years ago.
Barbara graduated from Rutherford High School and went on to graduate with a degree in nursing from Jersey City Medical School. She was a Registered Nurse at Beth Israel Hospital in Passaic for 22 years, later working at the Passaic General Hospital, retiring in 1997.
A member of the First Presbyterian Church, Rutherford, Barbara was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Atlas Chapter #99, Westfield.
Beloved wife of the late Bruce F. Henning who passed away in 2002. Devoted mother of Karl Henning, Kristine Haboran, Kim Klienatland, Keith Henning, Kurt Henning, Kyle Henning and Kate Holick. Loving grandmother of Bruce Haboran, Keith Henning, Jr., Kevin Henning, Lindsay Henning, Anna Cecelia Henning, Elaina Henning, Kyle Henning, Jr., and Mary Claire Klienatland.
Dear sister of Michael Prescott and Marjorie McClelland. Cherished aunt of Michael Prescott, II, and Maxamillion and Samantha McClelland.
Funeral Services are private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
