Barbara Armour's Obituary
Barbara (Boyle) Armour, 79, of Clifton, passed away on February 1, 2016. Born in Greenock, Scotland, she came to the US in 1956 and lived in Paterson before moving to Clifton many years ago.
A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Barbara was the Office Manager for New Jersey Physicians in Passaic and Clifton, where she worked for 35 years, retiring in 2009.
Beloved wife of the late John Armour who passed away in 1981, and Dr. Frank DeGiacomo of Clifton. Devoted mother of Marilyn Wojcik, Joanne Armour and John Armour, all of Clifton, and Stephanie Doncov and her husband Alex of Manhattan. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Alyssa and her husband Jonathan, AJ, and Alexis. Dear daughter of the late John and Annie (Glancy) Boyle. Cherished sister of Anne Pogorelec of Clifton, Jane Gianetti of Osterville, MA, and the late Catherine Steel.
Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting Friday 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
