Augusto Yagui, 84, of Nutley, passed away on November 9, 2023. Born in Peru to Seisun and Aki (Nakama) Yagui, he came to the US in 1985 and settled in Passaic, before moving to Nutley last year. Before retiring, Augusto worked as a fabric cutter in Secaucus for 30 years.

Beloved father of Beatriz Vega and her husband Fabian, Rafael Yagui, Cesar Yagui and his wife Jessica, the late Alex Yagui and his wife Karina, and the late Fernando Yagui . Loving grandfather of Sounmy, Hagime, Shyloh, Narue, Diego and his wife Rachel, and Andres. Cherished great grandfather of Kora and Kai. Dear brother of Masa, Toshi, Juan, Amelia and Sumi.

Visiting Monday, November 13, 2023, 6-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, prayer service will begin at 7 PM. Cremation will be private
