Audrey E. (Hauck) Bais, 91, of Wayne passed away on September 5, 2022. Born in Passaic, she was raised in Clifton and has been a resident of Wayne for 30 years. She was a secretary for many years, first with the Henry Peto Agency and later with Athenia Steel, both in Clifton, before retiring 34 years ago.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Bais who passed away in 1977. Devoted mother of Michael and his wife Jamie of Brick, Robert and his wife Barbara of Wayne and William and his wife Kelly of Sparta. Dear grandmother of Bonnie Hellstern and her husband Douglas, Brian Bais and his wife Caitlin, Steven Bais and his wife Shannon, Karly Bais and her fiancé David Zilly, Nicole Bais and Thomas Bais. Great grandmother of Lily, Daisy, Derek, Brady and Carter.

Visiting Wednesday 4-8PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Thursday 10AM at the funeral home. Interment, Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.
