Arlene Kovach, 89, of Fair Lawn passed away on December 19, 2025. Born in Mount Carmel, PA, Arlene lived in Passaic and Garfield before settling in Fair Lawn. She was an avid cruiser, she loved reading, puzzles and watching game shows. Arlene worked as a book distributor for Random House, New York, NY, for 10 years before retiring.

Beloved wife of the late James Kovach. Devoted mother of Dawn, Gayle, Scott Kovach. Loving grandmother of Ryan and Sarah Kovach. Dear sister of the late Robert Bolich.

Visiting Friday, December 26, from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.  Interment, Monday, December 29, 10 AM at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
