Arlene D. (Sokolek) Kazanowsky, 76, of Clifton passed away on January 21, 2024. Born in Passaic, she has been a resident of Clifton and Passaic for most of her life. Arlene worked as a receptionist and recruiter for Essex Testing Clinic in Clifton for 25 years before retiring in 2014. Arlene loved to cook and bake and could often be found sewing or working on various crafts.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph who passed away in 2004. Devoted mother of Joseph of Clifton and Kristine Skolnick and her husband Scott of Rockaway. Cherished grandmother of Morgan and Chloe. Godmother of William Long of Milford, MA. Sister of Maryann Long and Phyllis Sokolek, both of Fort Myers, FL, and sister-in-law of Allen Kazanowsky and his wife Joanne of Forked River.

Memorial Gathering, Saturday, April 20, 2024, 12-2 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation was private.
