Antonino "Nino" Caporrimo's Obituary
Antonino "Nino" Caporrimo, 85, of Lodi, passed away on October 8, 2016. Born in Palermo, Italy, he came to the US in 1956 and lived in Passaic, Wayne and Florida before moving to Lodi.
A parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton, Nino was a Produce Manager for Met Foods in New York for many years, retiring in 1991, and played Generose Soccer in Garfield.
Beloved husband for 60 years of Vincenza (Latona). Devoted father of Francesca Leishman and her husband Bob of Wayne, Tony of Clifton, Carlo of Lodi, Linda Kulick and her husband John of Wayne, and Jimmy and his wife Jill of Verona. Dear brother of Jennie Vingieri of Brooklyn. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Wednesday 10:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11:30 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011, www.alz.org , in memory of Nino, would be greatly appreciated.
