Antonina (Plewa) Bednarczyk, 81, of Clifton on August 31, 2009. Born in Poland Antonina came to the U.S. in 1969, settling in Paterson, and lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1975. A seamstress at Greensleeves of Passaic for 15 years retiring in 1993, Antonina was a parishioner of St. John Kanty R.C. Church, Clifton. Beloved wife of the late Walter who died in 1998. Devoted mother of Krystyna Cisowski and her husband Paul, Chester Bednarczyk and his wife Anna, and Paul Bednarczyk, all of Clifton. Dear sister of Maria Janchy and Jozef Plewa both of Poland. Loving grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 2. Funeral Thursday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave. Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Wednesday 6-9 PM.
