Anthony "Ted" Yarrish, 84, of Clifton, passed away on October 30, 2015. Born in Mayfield, PA, he lived there before moving to Clifton in 1940. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Ted was a US Marines Veteran during the Korean War. Ted worked for US Rubber in Passaic for 15 years and later was the owner of T & M Landscaping in Clifton for 30 years, retiring in 1990. Ted was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post and a former member of the Clifton Elks Lodge, Clifton. Among many hobbies, he owned racehorses and sponsored several professional bowlers. After retirement, he raised prized chickens and other exotic birds and helped many people with their yard and garden designs. Son of the late Walter and Anna (Kopa) Jarosz. Father of Ted, Jr., Richard, Gary, Mark and Kevin Yarrish, and Lisa DeVita. Grandfather of 12, great grandfather of 4. Brother of Loretta Dvorak, Alfred "Al" Yarrish, Lucille Morris and the late Mary Ann Yarrish. Visiting Saturday, November 7, 2015, 2-5 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Military Honors will be presented at 5 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Centennial Park Clinic Building Fund, PO Box 948, Centennial Park, Arizona 86021-0948, in memory of Ted, would be greatly appreciated.
