Anthony S. Machovsky, Sr., 97, of Clifton, passed away on April 18, 2015. Born in Clifton, he was a lifelong resident and was a parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church. Before retiring in 1980, Anthony was a Maintenance Manager for Passaic Check Cashing Unemployed and Job Services in Passaic for 25 years, and later was a Carpenter for Tony Borzotta Construction in Wayne for 30 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Lyons) who passed away in 1982. Devoted father of Anthony, Jr., and his wife Pat of Forked River, and James and his wife Cindy of Wayne. Loving grandfather of Edward, James, Ryan, and the late Anthony. Cherished great grandfather of Nicholas and Michael. Loving companion of Anastazja Kolouszek. Dear brother of the late Helen Peletruski and her husband the late Ernie. Funeral Thursday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
