Anthony S. Machovsky, Jr., 76, of Forked River, passed away on June 21, 2018. born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton before moving to Forked River in 2011.

Tony was a roofer for many years with C. Genardi Contracting, Inc., in Clifton, where he was affectionately known as "Pop", and was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local #6. Tony had also worked for East Rutherford Auto Body as a Manager for 26 years.

Beloved husband of Patricia (Mistove). Devoted father of Eddie and his wife Christine of Hamburg, and the late Anthony, III, who passed away in 1998. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Michael. Loving son of the late Margaret (Lyons) and Anthony S. Machovsky, Sr.. Dear brother of  Jim and his wife Cindy of Wayne. Adored uncle of James and Ryan Machovsky, Sue and Bob Leitner and their children Stephanie and Bobby, Raymond and Linda Simpson, Tom Simpson and his daughters Breena and Kiara, Jennifer and Reed Bingaman and their children Nathaniel and Sarah.

Funeral Monday 11 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Sunday 4-9 PM at the funeral home.

*** The Nils Nilsson Foundation raises money for our friends Cole (13) and Jack (11). The boys have been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a slow progressive degenerative condition. This disease has left the boys wheelchair dependent and they will eventually have a total loss of the use of their upper and lower extremities. It is necessary to retrofit their home to accommodate their current and future situations.***
